The Current Legal Team Powering Success

Leading the charge at DFW Injury Lawyers today are co-founders Pedro "Peter" de la Cerda and Kevin L. Edwards, each bringing extensive backgrounds that reinforce the firm's strong legal foundation.

Peter de la Cerda

He began his legal career defending health care and manufacturing companies in complex liability cases. After witnessing firsthand the impact on injured individuals, he switched to representing plaintiffs.

His knowledge in personal injury, medical malpractice, and products liability cases gives the firm a robust advantage in high-stakes car accident claims. His courtroom experience and strategic approach help shape many of the firm's significant case outcomes. He graduated with honors and was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and the Texas Tech Law Review.

Kevin L. Edwards

He has dedicated over 15 years to advocating for victims affected by negligence and reckless conduct. As a personal injury lawyer, he has dealt with thousands of injury cases, defective product litigations, and mass tort cases.

Edwards's extensive trial experience complements the firm's preparation style, which treats every case as if it might go to court. His hands-on approach ensures detail-oriented case development and strong negotiation positions.

Together, these attorneys collaborate with other skilled lawyers at the firm who focus on gathering information like police reports, medical records, and eyewitness account, such as police reports and eyewitness accounts.

This evidence gathering is vital for building persuasive claims against insurance companies and opposing parties. To bolster its arguments, the team also collaborates closely with experts in accident reconstruction and medicine.

Commitment to Clients and Local Expertise

DFW Injury Lawyers operates exclusively on a contingency fee basis, meaning clients owe nothing unless their case is won. This reflects the attorneys' confidence in their work and dedication to accessible legal help.

Clients receive personalized attention with clear communication at every step, including free initial consultations. Their Dallas base gives the team a nuanced understanding of local courts, insurance companies, and Texas-specific laws that affect car accident claims.

This local knowledge allows them to adapt strategies to the particular challenges of the area, whether it's countering comparative negligence claims or navigating legal deadlines. The firm's thorough preparation and regional insight often lead to efficient resolutions without sacrificing client rights.
